IT @ Final Struggle – Bio
Direttamente da Modena, i Final Struggle nascono nel 2022 con un solo obiettivo: tenere vivo l’hardcore ruvido e senza compromessi degli anni ‘90/2000. Siamo cresciuti con quel sound —veloce, pesante, senza stronzate— e questa band è il nostro modo di restituire qualcosa alla scena che ci ha forgiati. Dopo qualche cambio di line-up iniziale, abbiamo trovato la formazione giusta, e non ci siamo più fermati.
Il nostro stile? Hardcore old-school con un tocco moderno e metallico. Grezzo, aggressivo e fatto per il pit e i suoi avventori. Con chiari riferimenti ai suoni della NYHC dei primi anni 2000, rifacendoci a band come Strife, Sentence e Hatebreed per intenderci. Se ti piacciono circle pit, cori da urlare e riff che spaccano tutto, sai già cosa aspettarti.
Il nostro nuovo EP, “Strive for Rebirth” (uscito qualche settimana fa), prende tutto quello che abbiamo fatto con “JOIN THE RIOT” (2023) e lo porta al livello successivo, più duro, più cattivo, con testi che parlano di rinascita e di non mollare mai. È dedicato a chi cade, ma si rialza sempre.
Prossima mossa? Portarlo ovunque, con live al fulmicotone e senza regole. DIY fino al midollo. E sì, stiamo cercando un’etichetta per sparare fuori un full-length come si deve.
La scena hardcore di Modena, dalla quale proveniamo, è più viva che mai, e noi stessi la spingiamo con i nostri progetti paralleli con crew come Undernoise Modena Crew, Crossed Shows e RDR HC Videos che tengono alta la fiamma del DIY. Straight outta Modena (ITALY), Final Struggle was born in 2022 with one goal: keeping that raw, uncompromising ‘90s/2000s hardcore alive. We grew up on that sound—fast, heavy, no-bullshit—and this band is our way of giving back to the scene that shaped us. After a few lineup changes early on, we locked in the right crew and haven’t stopped since.
Our style? Old-school hardcore with a modern metallic edge. Raw, aggressive, and built for the pit. Drawing heavy influence from early 2000s NYHC, we take cues from bands like Strife, Sentence, and Hatebreed , so if you’re into circle pits, shout-along choruses, and bone-crushing riffs, you already know what to expect.
Our new EP, Strive for Rebirth (out now), takes everything we did on Join the Riot (2023) and pushes it even further—harder, meaner, with lyrics about rebirth and never backing down. This one’s for those who fall but always get back up.
What’s next? Taking this record everywhere—playing relentless, no-rules, high-energy live shows. 100% DIY, through and through. And yeah, we’re on the hunt for a label to help us drop a full-length the way it should be done.
The Modena hardcore scene is stronger than ever, and we push it forward through our parallel projects with Undernoise Modena Crew, Crossed Shows, and RDR HC Videos, keeping the DIY spirit alive.
